You'll notice the background in our photos is always changing. That's because we go wherever the need is. We teach kids to cook at community centers, churches, professional kitchens, and so on. We don't care where we teach as long as we get to teach kids the importance of preparing and eating REAL FOOD.
Our primary goals are to educate children on the value of eating healthier foods to fuel their bodies and minds and to teach which foods should be eaten as occasional treats. We like kids to understand where their food comes from, how it is grown, and what impact it has on our environment. We emphasize fresh vegetables and non-processed foods, and limit added sugars in our recipes whenever possible. We use meat (mostly chicken and turkey) in our recipes and we are NOT a peanut or allergy-free cooking school.
We teach kitchen safety and knife skills and use only equipment you would find in a home kitchen since our goal is for students to replicate at home what they learn in class. Our cooking classes are always fun, hands-on, and often messy in a really good way. We like kids to get their hands dirty!
